a favorite spot

Now that the weather is warmer and the windows are opening (and mama did a little rearranging in the living room), you've found a new favorite spot. On top of the toy box, right in front of the open window. From here, you can do lots of things: play with your cars on the window sill, watch the cars drive past on the street, say hello to our neighbors as they go in and out. Or just yell out the window to see if anyone hears you.

Let's hope the heat doesn't descend too soon so we can keep your window open long into the summer.

watson mill bridge state park

Last weekend we all went to Watson Mill Bridge State Park. You had so much fun! Your favorite part by far was the playground, especially the tube slide. You went up and down, up and down, up and down ... mama and dada tired out before you did. The first picture above is an action shot dada took right at the end of the slide. He had to hurry and take the picture so he could catch you!

After the playground, we had a picnic on the grass. That's you with your famous peanut-butter-jelly face :). You gobble those things up! I love the look on your face in the second picture: "mama, I'm eating, put away that camera!"

We also walked under the covered bridge and went down to the bank of the falls. You and dada threw sticks in the water and you went on a little hike with mama down the trail. You love being outside, especially in Georgia's beautiful spring weather!

It was a good day.
