peek-a-boo!

I couldn't resist posting this video too. Two good videos in one day! I love what a playful rising toddler you've become; you like nothing better than to play silly games and tumble around with mama and dada. If your first year is any indication, we're raising quite the social animal. And quite the flirt!

almost walking!

Look at you! Before we know it, you're going to be walking all on your own. I'm very lucky I captured this; usually when I bring out the camera you become too involved in hatching a plan to get it from me!

pull ups

Even though we're busy packing boxes and moving we still have time to hang out with you. You are always under my feet, reminding me that it's always playtime. I was showing you how to do pull-ups in mama's clothes closet. I think you're going to grow up to be a very strong boy.

just before bed, babyhawk

This is what you and I look like, every night, around 7:45pm. After dinner, perhaps a bath, and a diaper change, I load you up in the babyhawk and we stroll around. We hum a bit, dance a bit, clean a bit, simply walk a bit. We're winding down, and snuggling close. I rub your head, you hang on to my shirt. I kiss your forehead, you chomp on your nuk. It's peaceful.

Then we read books, have a bottle, and sing to sleep ... which is what you're doing now. And as soon as I finish writing this, that's where I'm going too.
