Brunswick, GA

We had a good time in Brunswick visiting Nini and Pawpaw and the rest of dada's family! After a loooong six hour drive, we arrived on Friday afternoon and stayed through Tuesday morning. We spent plenty of time just playing in the living room with Nini, Pawpaw, Aunt Bec Bec and Lady (the dog). You loved watching Lady run around! We also went to St. Simon's Island and saw the ocean (although we didn't get to go swimming - next time we will), went out to eat several times, went for a walk around the neighborhood, visited a park (you liked swinging!) and even watched some tv (don't see that a lot!).

You pulled up for the first time this weekend too! You struggled a bit, and when you were on your feet you smiled knowingly - what an accomplishment. After that, you couldn't get enough. Trying to pull up on everything, stable or not, haha.

The end of Memorial Day weekend marks the beginning of your summer home with dada. You two are going to have so much fun!

This video is of you clapping for us. You clapped for me most of the day and this was the first time your momma saw it. You're just a happy little guy now that you are eating and sleeping regularly. You love turkey and vegetables. Just look at your happy little face. You really know how to charm people. It's a talent.

dada's morning

In this picture you're trying to get a good look at dada, who's making funny noises behind you. This morning was a dada morning! Since the semester and his final exams are over, momma took over the first night shift (yes, you STILL don't sleep through the night, haha) so that dada could go to sleep early. So that meant he woke up with you this morning!

(and momma slept blissfully in bed past 7am)
